Update on the Cajun Coast

The Cajun Coast survived Hurricane Gustav and Hurricane Ike. Hurricane Ike brought in lots of water and flooded a great deal of the western part of the parish, which has since receded.

Holiday Inn of Morgan City, Days Inn of Morgan City and Planation Inn has a rooms available for walk ins. Best Western Forest Motor Inn and Comfort Inn of Franklin are full.
